The IIBN were delighted to support the CMRF (Children's Medical Research Foundation) dinner in aid of the National Childrens Research Centre based at Our Ladys Children's Hospital, Crumlin in Dublin, Ireland on July 21st.

The guests of honor were former Ireland rugby legends, and former bitter rivals, Ronan O’Gara and Jonathan Sexton’s who were representing The No. 10 Fund and ambassadors for CMRF. In the after dinner Q&A Johnny and Ronan were joined by current Irish rugby captain Rory Best. The stories of how Johnny and Ronan went from foe competing for the Irish the No. 10 jersey on the Irish team to moving to Paris together and becoming friends had the audience at the Water Club captivated.

A special mention to those who made the event a real success raising over $150,000 to support the National Children’s Research Centre in Dublin; Dave Evans (the Dinner Chair and Chair of the Emerging Leaders Board of CMRF), Johann Fox (Development Officer of CMRF), Katie Gassert of Gatsby Events and Sean Gaffey (CMRF and IIBN Board member) The evening was made all the more memorable because of the venue setting and hospitality of Buzzy O'Keefe and all the staff at the Water Club.
