Amy Coghlan is Vice President of Strategic Channels at StarBlue Inc, which is a leading global player in business communications technology such as Voip, video & collaboration, contact centers and integration software. Before moving to NYC, Amy was based in Asia (Shanghai and Singapore)  for five years where she was Global Head of Business Development for a CIDF, a Chinese distributor, helping businesses and brands launch in new markets by developing positioning strategies and establishing new partnerships. In 2016, she led several global retailers to launch a new category of wellness products and launched Blackmores (No. 1 health supplement in Australia) in 6 new markets. Prior to that she negotiated an exclusive distribution agreement with the second largest distillery in China and expanded their footprint across retailers internationally. Before moving to Asia, Amy was based in Dublin as Research Manager with GLG Research managing clients such as McKinsey, BCG and Bain & Co. She has also been involved with the start up community having been involved with an early stage fashion e-commerce business in Singapore and in a VC backed new Chinese liquor brand which will launch in NYC in 2018. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business, Economics and Social Studies  in Trinity College Dublin (and Tongi University, Shanghai) and MBA program at Nanyang Business School (NTU) in Singapore as part of the Farmleigh Fellowship scholarship.
