Frankie is a Senior Manager within Grant Thornton LLP's Financial Services Advisory practice. Having spent some 8 years with the Irish member firm he relocated to New York City in 2014.

In 2016 he assumed responsibilities to lead Grant Thornton’s U.S. Irish Business Group in New York.

Established in 2013, the U.S. Irish Business Group is a collaborative initiative between the U.S. and Irish member firms of Grant Thornton International Ltd, whose primary purpose is to provide clients who have operations in both the U.S. and Ireland fully integrated services.

These include - market entry solutions, business advisory, Irish tax planning, merger & acquisition assistance, financial accounting and advisory services, corporate reorganization, and global audit coordination.

 

 

Frankie is acutely aware of all service lines (Audit, Tax and Advisory) offered by both the Irish and New York offices and his primary focus lies in the Banking sector and has assisted a number of Global Systemically Important Financial Institutions (G-SIFIs) with a range of issues including regulatory compliance, operational risk and process improvement / optimization.

 

 

He has extensive experience working with U.S. Branches of Foreign Banking Organizations on their Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering requirements. He has initiated relationships and partnered with various New York based FinTech firms to introduce and implement industry leading products, services and solutions to clients.
